Payvessel App Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Payvessel mobile application and related consumer wallet services (the “App” or “Services”). The App is operated by Nex Panther Technologies Limited (“Payvessel”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By creating an account, downloading the App, or using any feature of the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
These Terms apply to individual consumers using the Payvessel App. If you are a business or merchant using Payvessel payment infrastructure, APIs, or virtual accounts, the Business Terms and Conditions apply instead.

1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use the App. The App is intended for individual personal use only—not for commercial, merchant, or agency activity unless we expressly approve it in writing.
You must reside in or be eligible to use financial services in a country where the App is offered. We may restrict availability by region, product, or partner capability. You agree to provide accurate registration details (name, email, phone number, and any other information we request) and to keep them up to date.
2. Your Account & Security
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your passcode, transaction PIN, and device access credentials.
- Do not share your account or allow anyone else to use it. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- Notify us immediately at support@payvessel.com if you suspect unauthorized access or loss of your device.
- We may require additional verification (including biometrics, OTP, or liveness checks) before allowing sensitive actions.
- One person may maintain only one consumer account unless we approve otherwise.
3. Services We Provide
Depending on your verification level and country, the App may include some or all of the following:
- Naira, dollar, or other supported currency wallets;
- Bank transfers and peer-to-peer payments;
- Airtime, data, electricity, and other bill payments;
- Virtual or physical payment cards;
- eSIM and other digital lifestyle products;
- Referral rewards and promotional offers.
Features may change, be added, or be withdrawn at any time. Some services are provided through licensed banks, card schemes, payment networks, or other third-party partners—we do not guarantee that every feature is available in every region.
4. Our Relationship With You
- Payvessel is a financial technology platform—not a bank. We do not hold customer funds as a bank deposit; funds are processed through partner institutions and payment rails.
- Transfers are executed using account numbers and payment instructions you provide. You are responsible for verifying beneficiary details before confirming a transaction.
- Once a transaction is submitted, it may not be reversible. Incorrect account numbers or amounts may result in loss of funds that we cannot recover.
- We may delay, block, or reverse transactions where required by law, suspected fraud, insufficient KYC, or partner rules.
5. KYC & Verification
To comply with Nigerian and international anti-money-laundering (AML) and know-your-customer (KYC) rules, we require identity verification before you can access higher limits or certain products. This may include BVN, NIN, face match, address, or additional documents.
You agree that information you submit is true and belongs to you. Providing false information, using another person's identity, or attempting to bypass verification may result in immediate suspension and reporting to authorities.
Until KYC is complete, your wallet may have restricted funding, withdrawal, or transfer limits as displayed in the App.
6. Fees, Limits & Exchange Rates
Fees, FX rates, and transaction limits are shown in the App before you confirm a transaction. By proceeding, you accept the displayed fee and rate. We may change fees or limits with reasonable notice where required by law.
Promotional rates or zero-fee offers may expire or apply only to eligible users. Taxes, network charges, or third-party fees may apply in addition to Payvessel fees.
7. Acceptable Use
You must not use the App to:
- Break any applicable law or regulation;
- Engage in fraud, money laundering, terrorist financing, or sanctions evasion;
- Process payments for illegal goods, gambling where prohibited, weapons, or other restricted categories;
- Abuse referral programs, promotions, or chargeback processes;
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the App or our systems;
- Use the App on behalf of a third party without authorization.
We may suspend or terminate your account and report activity to law enforcement or regulators if we reasonably suspect a violation.
8. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the App you consent to that processing, including sharing with partners needed to deliver payments, cards, and compliance checks.
9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability
The App and Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
We are not liable for losses caused by incorrect payment details you enter, third-party network outages, partner bank delays, unauthorized access resulting from your failure to secure your device, or events outside our reasonable control.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the App shall not exceed the greater of ₦100,000 or the fees you paid to us in the twelve (12) months before the claim.
10. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or close your account if you breach these Terms, fail KYC, remain inactive for an extended period, or if required by a regulator or partner. You may close your account by contacting support, subject to settling any outstanding balances or disputes.
Sections that by nature should survive (fees owed, liability limits, dispute resolution, and governing law) will survive termination.
11. Dispute Resolution
If you have a complaint about a transaction or the App, contact support@payvessel.com with your registered email and transaction reference. We will investigate and respond within timeframes required by applicable regulation.
For unresolved disputes, see our Dispute Resolution page. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you may have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Courts in Nigeria shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer protection rules in your country require otherwise.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App, email, or our website. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you do not agree, you must stop using the App and close your account.
